About me

I have always been in love with my beautiful region (Saint-Malo and surroundings) and love to share its history and secrets. My tours are designed for you, whether you’re from here or elsewhere!

I was born on the banks of the river Rance and rocked by the rhythm of the tides before leaving to discover Germany and live one of my other passions, foreign languages and discovering new cultures. These languages (German, English) allow me to reach a wide audience today.

When I returned home, I immediately wanted to contribute to the development of Saint-Malo’s heritage and offer cultural tours accessible to all. With this in mind, I now offer original and customisable tours. I look forward to meeting you for an enlightening and refreshing tour!

I hold the official tour guide’s licence no. GC183510P.

I am also a translator/interpreter, you can find more information on my homepage www.alexandradurand.com

The “classic” tours last approximately 1.5 hours. However, depending on your needs, I can adapt my itinerary and am happy to offer longer tours lasting 2 hours, 2.5 hours, or even half a day or a full day.

In principle, I strongly recommend that you book in advance, especially for tours planned between March and October. However, you can always contact me on the spur of the moment and we can decide on a tour slot that suits both our schedules.
